As part of national drug action week the Wetherill Park TAFE library hosted a drug awareness presentation.
Michael Magyary was the guest speaker from Ambulance NSW.
A paramedic with 23 years experience, Michael provided us with an informative session based on his wide ranging experience, students were interested to hear what it is like being an 'AMBO' and we all learnt about some of the negative impacts of drugs and alcohol in society.
There were promotional giveaways provided by the department of health and aging and some were lucky enough to receive a free single use breathalyser and drink spiking tester which were provided by Bankstown women’s health centre.
Have a look at some of the pictures from the day!
Many thanks to all who participated and helped make the event a memorable one!
Be sure to keep an eye out for future events in the Wetherill Park TAFE library!
