Adult Learner's Week in the Library 2011

The Library, Student Association and the Adult Basic Education section hosted a morning tea in celebration of Adult Learner's Week 2011.

Sept to Oct Library VAC opening hours

Wetherill Park Library operating hours during the Sept - Oct vacation are as follows:

Week 1
Monday to Thursday : 10am to 3pm
Friday : 10am to 1pm

Week 2
Monday : Public Holiday
Tuesday to Thursday : 10am to 3pm
Friday : 10am to 1pm

Library resources can be returned outside of library hours in the RETURNS CHUTE, located next to the library entrance doors.

In conjunction with the Adult Basic Education Section the library will be hosting the Australian Museum’s Bush Tucker Box.
Teachers book your class into the library from the 29th August 2011 - September 16th 2011 to show your students a variety of specimens/books/DVDs on Australian bush tucker!

Wetherill Park TAFE Childrens centre event in the library

On Friday the 29th july the library was host to a visit by children from the local childrens centre.
The boys and girls were learning about recycling and being enviromentally friendly.
Our library staff member Ange gave a presentation about recycling, wormfarms and fishing and showed everyone how bottles and cans can be reused.
